Has been forever! Tells you the state of craziness in school right now, but, on the brighter side of things, the term break is coming! Finally. Bloody tiring term and it's almost over.
We celebrated Teachers Day last Mon. And I had a blast. I always enjoy Teachers Day cos I get the best and most random gifts from my babies. This year, I got a lot of home made gifts, all of which came from the heart. I received so many cards, of different colours and shapes, and each and everyone of those cards made me laugh, and smile. :) One of my 4NA boys made me a chanel handbag card. All in pink, full of sequins. Bloody amazing. Another one made me a door hanger, all in bright pink and red. Beautiful. And another made me a Teachers Report card. :) I think I got about 20 cards in all, and I hung everyone of them on my display board in my class. :)
Me and Chan, at the parade square with our class. Thats my class T shirt. Yes, its in pink! The whole class wanted it in pink cos they said, when everyone looks at them, the will know that Im their form teacher straight away. LOL! And did we get a lot of attention when we first wore the T shirts.
And my 4 of my class babies actually put up a performance for me. They played the guitar, and drums and sang to Sum 41's 'Pieces'. And it was so cool. At the end of the performance, when they were still on stage, they were like, 'Ms Khai, where are you?' And I waved and gave them a flying kiss. And they dedicated the performance to me. :) My babies...:) So much heart.
And then, I went for m Teachers Day dinner where I was hosting the event with Vidhu at Orchard Hotel. And did we have a ball. No script, no nothing. Just the programme, and a gist of the games that were going to be played and man, did we ham it up. :) I love being on stage, I get a high from it. LOL! My colleagues said Im in the wrong profession. Hahahahahaha. But it was a a hell of a lot of fun. Ate, played games, laughed like crazy. :) And of course, dressed up. The theme was masquerade and we all had to wear a mask. I wore a really beautiful shimmery purple mask. Very pretty. The masklah, not me.
And on Teachers Day itself, since it was a school holiday, I went to reward myself by going for a 4 hr spa. 2 hrs facial, 2 hrs scrub and massage. Shiok. Best way to celebrate Teachers Day.
So last day of school tomorrow before the term break. Cant wait. I need to rejuvenate myself.
Me in my mask.
