Im flying off again soon! To Bangkok this time during the March holidays. I usually dont travel out during the March or September break cos it's just too short but this time round, I have nothing much on in March (highly shocking) and I am not planning anything highly exciting for my bday, so I decided to treat myself to a trip for my bday. Like a gift to myself. Tickets were pretty reasonable, $200 and I've booked a nice place to stay in, very near the shopping belt of Bangkok.

I love Bangkok. I have been there twice and I always enjoyed myself there. Shopping is cheap, it's easily accessible, people are really friendly there, helps that I look Thai myself, food is amazing and really really cheap. Whats there not to love about it right? I know I have friends who do not like the place. Says it's too crowded, and over rated. But I dont know. I seldom travel within Asia, but if there is one place in Asia which I really enjoy, it has got to be Thailand.

The last time I was there, I was with Wendy and Vidhu.This was in 2006. I bought so many clothes, and shoes, and bags. Ate like a horse there too! Oh! And they have very very good and cheap lingerie there. I'm not talking about rubbish lingerie but like good brands such as Wacoal and Triumph but at much cheaper rates! I bought like 5 sets the last time I went and it lasted for years! So, yes, lingerie shopping it's gonna be!! Im looking forward to the crazy bargaining at Chatuchak, the night markets at Patpong, the wholesale shops at Pratunam, the fab shopping at MBK and Pratunam Shopping Centre. the cheap Thai massages and foot reflexology....Arrgghh!!!! I cant wait to travel!! Just go and do nothing. And I chose a hotel with a nice pool too so I can spend one day maybe just lounging in the hotel and doing nothing!! Yay!

And until then, I am going to trudge through 3 more weeks of school before I go on the plane.... Yay!!!!:)
