I had one of the nicest weekends in a long long time. I watched David Foster and friends in concert @ the Esplanade and it was really, really good. David Foster is a musical genius, a maestro in his own class. He had produced and written some of the best songs ever and he has got that midas touch. So when I found out he was coming to perform with some of the best singers, I jumped at the opportunity to watch the concert.

And God, it was really good, from the start to the end. I loved the way he banters with the audience, and he is a really funny and unpretentious guy. Love it. So the concert started with the Candian Tenor, 3 very hot looking men and they were belting out music from David Foster, including one of my favourite songs ever, Hallelujah. Their voices were amazing. Then Natalie Cole came on stage and for someone who is over 50, she is smoking. She sang 'Fever', 'Through the Fire', and she sounded silky smooth. And then there was also Ruben Studdard, and he sang 'I swear'. Another one of my favourites cos his voice is like velvet. Peter Cetera was on stage too and he sang his classics, Glory of Love, You'r my Inspiration and Hard to Say Im sorry....The crowd went wild. And they left the best for last. Charice. OMG. She was beyond awesome. For someone who is just 18, her voice is powerful. And she sang some of the hardest songs on Planet Earth; Whitney Houston's bodyguard soundtrack of 'I have Nothing' and 'I will always love you', Celine Dion's 'Power of Love' and 'All by Myself' and she hit every single one of those crazily high notes!

It was a really long concert. 3 hrs. Worth every single cent of my $150. I went back home a happy camper! :)

And the next morning,  Sunday, I woke up at 530am, and went for my Great Eastern 10km Women's Run. I have been a little under the weather for the past 3 to 4 days and was hesitant about running. But I popped like vitamin C and multi vits and felt much better this morning, so went for the run. And it was a good run. I did a 1hr 15 mins on the Shape Run in July and I was hoping for a better time. And it was a really good route, with kind weather, aside from the occassional sun which filtered through the foliages and trees, steady pace and momentum, easy breathing, good long strides. And I managed to complete the run, with almost 10mins shaved off the Shapre Run timing. Fab! So I feel really good about it..Maybe half marathon next year...We'll see.

And then in the evening, I went to buy room accessories. Bought myself a room diffuser, scented candles, Home fragrance oil and the oil burner as well. All from Bodyshop. So now my room and toilet smells of pomegrenate and raspberry. Very very yum. :)

Going to be a short week cos of the Deepavali public hols, but for the rest of the week, it's crazy exam duties. Bleah.....
