I got me a KATE SPADE bag!!! YAY!!!! Ok, I didn't get myself a Kate Spade bag. I got myself 2 KATE SPADE bags!!!

I am not a designer bag, shoe, clothes, or anything for that matter. I dont believe in spending hundreds and thosuands of dollars on expensive things, cos I would rather save the money and travel with the money saved. And then, I met Juliana Woo, who has a penchant for designer bags. And the first time I met her, I saw her carrying this gorgeous Kate Spade bag and I fell in total lust with it. I asked her and she was like , 'Oh, this is Kate Spade.'

I have refrained from going into the Kate Spade outlets in Singapore (Only 2 by the way, one in Taka and another in Raffles City) for fear of weakening and succumbing under pressure (Highly dramatic, I know.) But about last month, me and sis were walking and shopping around and we chanced upon the Kate Spade outlet at Taka, and we were like 'Oh, let's go in to see.' OMG! We like fell in love with every single damn bag there, I swear. But we managed to stop ourselves, but we both knew we were going to get a bag from there sooner or later. LOL!!!! Then, when I was away on holiday last week, I got a message from sis. 'Kate Spade's having a sale.' I called her up immediately (Yes, I made an overseas call just to talk about the sale with my sis!) and told her to wait for me to come back, and we'll shop.

So I  came back on a Sat morning, and on that afternoon that I came back, we went down to Taka's Kate Spade outlet. Didn't waste any time. And after an hour of oohing and aahhing at every single damn bag there, sis got a totally cute pink tote bag, and a patent white leather handbag. Stunning. She spent about $800.

What did I get myself? I got myself a white tote bag, very chic and classic looking. That one was $450. And as I was about to pay, the salesgirl pointed out this totally cute red bag and I just fell in love with it. And I bought that one too. $600. Which means, I just spent $1000 on 2 designer bags. Breathe Khai, breathe. But I dont care cos the bags are so cute!!! And I feel so good carrying them! And cos I spent $1k in  a single reciept, I became a VIP member of Kate Spade, so I get 10% off all Kate Spade items. So yeah, anyone who wants to get anything from there, tell me. 10% off. Quite a fair bit. And first dibs at their preview sale. YAY!!! JULI!!! I blame you for this!!! :)

So here are my oh-so-cute bags. And their oh-so-cute names! :)

So Im happy! :)

On another note altogether, I just came back from my 2nd trip. To Melbourne this time. Weather was great there. A little erratic, but still good. I was expecting lots of sun, so brought nothing but my sundresses. Thank God Nad told me to bring at least one pair of stockings and a jacket cos everyone knows what Melbourne's weather is like. It can change from hot to cold within an hour. And for the first 3 days I was there, I froze my ass off. It was so bloody cold!!! The wind was strong, and at one point, the weather dropped to 15 degrees! I was so not prepared for it. But after the 3 days, the warm weather came back and that was nice. Cos it was not humid. Very dry though, so my lips are totally chapped.

I did a lot of partying in Melbourne. I have never partied so hard, I swear. LOL! Im not much of a party goer in Singapore. Maybe cos my ex students are of party going age and seeing them in the clubs is extremely mortifying. But I guess cos I was overseas, I really let my hair down. I partied on Sat night, went to this club at St Kilda's beach, very happening club. I got picked up by an Indian chick there. Highly disturbing. She was like, 'Ooohhh...Love your dress' and she kept touching my face. Freaking hell.

Went to a few pubs as well in the course of the week. A lot of roof top bars in Melbourne, and I love it, cos seating al fresco, at the roof top, with music playing, and cool weather, is just amazing.

And on my last night there, I went to the Crown Casino, where there was a club spinning rnb and hip hop music all night. Such an interesting night. There was this black girl, in a super tight dress, and man, she was bringing it on, I swear. The dancing was just amazing, albeit a little skanky, but all eyes were on her! Like one of those girls in a Flo Rida or Fifty Cents music video. LOL! And then, there was an Indian guy trying to hump an highly obese white blonde chick. Im not sure if he was drunk, but it was a highly disturbing sight. Then there were two she-men, bringing it on with 2 white guys. I think the 2 guys were totally pissed drunk to realise that the chicks they picked up were not actually chicks but more like .... erm....lady boys... LOL!!! I was so entertained. And of course, I did a hell of a lot of dancing. Think I was on the dance floor from 11pm till almost 3 in the morning. I had such a good time. Been such a long time since I just let my hair down. The music was really fab as well! A good mix of old school and newer songs. Very, very fun.

What else did I do? A lot of shopping in the city (I bought like 7 dresses, 3 tops, 3 bottoms, 2 cardis, a pair of wedges..Man, I was out of control.), breakfasts by the little lanes and alleys in Melbourne city, coffee and quirky shopping at Brunswick St, lunch by the beach and rolling on the grass at St Kilda plus gelato of course, waters @ Docklands, croissants and latte @ Smith St, and of course, crazy partying.

So yeah, I had a good trip. And I got bumped up to Business class on the plane back home so that was sweet. :) Flying off again in 2 days, to Perth this time. See all my friends again!!! Been forever since we all last met and hung out!!! More partying!!! YAY!!!

Here are some pics in Melbourne....:)

@ St Kildas

Bridge Road. Found a purple rose and plucked it off the tree. :)

Docklands. Got a pair of Mango pants here for $20!!!

Crazy wind going on here!

Coffee. Melbourne has the best coffee, I swear. I had a latte every day. And I am not even a coffee person.

Look a little gross here. After being flung around by the wind, and wearing a tunic top, worn as a dress (which makes it an extremely short dress), I was a little dazed. Can you tell? LOL!!! Stopped by a bar/lounge for drinks and pizza. YUM! And also to avoid being flung around by the crazy wind!

I am having such a good time, I swear. Next stop please! Enjoy your December people! Until my next entry!
