I went to Desaru over the weekend. Dev's going to Melbourne this 20th September to meet and greet his new bosses, after which he will probably have a month left before he leaves for good. So we decided to go off for the weekend cos it's probably one of the last few times we get to do this as he's leaving really soon. We had such a hassle trying to book a place before finally getting a room at Desaru's Pulai Resort. 4 Star hotel, $120 per night per person, inclusive of a sea view room, ferry, land transfer and breakfast. So we packed our bags and left on Sat morning. The ferry ride was about 35 minutes and then a coach ride for about 25 mintues. Pretty short journey.

We had a lot of fun. For the first time we were'nt angry at each other, or squabbling over stupid things and it felt like old times. We ate, swam, rested, held hands by the beach, had coffee at night by the resort's lounge with this lounge singer serenading us with old songs from Tracy Chapman, Bee Gees, etc. Very nice. Made me realise why I'm in so much love with Dev. :)

The Pulai Resort @ Desaru. Very nice hotel. The room we got was huge, with a good viewof the pool and sea.

Of course, with Dev, we had to check out the gym. Pretty good gym. We 'tested' the equipment. At least I did. Dev was doing lat pull downs, as heavy as his weight. Crazy!

By the pool. I was actually in a bikini but I decided against putting up pictrues of myself half naked. I don't have a solid body, and kind of embrrassinglah..:) This is as far as it goes.

It was a short but good trip. I love spending quality time with Dev. These are the kind of moments I'll remember when Dev is gone. :)
