I went for a kid's run on Sunday. Accompanied my sister and the two monkeys, and had the best time with them. Went down really early and just hung out while waiting for their turn to run. It was really hot that day, so I have massively ugly tan lines. Gross.

1 more week of school and I am off for my holidays! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been marking like a maniac the past 10 days. It's mind boggling the sheer amount of marking I have been doing. But seems like no matter how fast and efficiently I mark, the pile doesn't seem to ever finish. I have to finish the damn marking by tomorrow. I don't know how I am going to do it, but I will. Sitting down on my ass and marking for 4 straight hours is no joke. So in the midst of the marking last week, I started surfing for music videos on Youtube and came across Ricky Martin's live performance of Lola Lola. And I watched it. AND I TOTALLY FORGOT HOW FREAKING HOT RICKY MARTIN IS!! LOL! No one except for Maya can understand how man Ricky is. Urgh....The way he moves, and dances, and the hips,...ok...relax girl. But yeah, I was watching and rewatching the clip and my colleagues were like...Mmm..Khai, he is gay. I glared at them and told them, If you are my friend, you will not hurt me like that. And they just laughed and left me alone. So, cos I have been marking for almost 4 hrs, I surfed for pictures of him. Enjoy!

Aside from the crazy marking and lusting over Ricky Martin, I met up the girls (Wendy and Angela) to catch up and celebrate Wendy's birthday. Haven't hung out for a while, think the last was for my bday which was 2 mths back. It was nice, hanging out, bitching, talking about sex (LOL! Much to Wendy's discomfort even though she's the married one here), arguing about who's right and who's wrong (that's mostly me and Wendy), having Haagen Daz ice cream and stuffing our faces. I had a great time with both of them. Girls, we need to do this more often. Very thereaupetic. Happy Birthday Wendy!

Ok, I should get back to my bloody marking. I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE IT!

We celebrated Mother's Day one week earlier this year. Why? Cos it's difficult to get a table on Mother's Day, restaurants exploit the day and overcharge like crazy, and my nephew starts his exams the week after Mother's Day. So we decided to have it earlier, and we went down to my favourite halal buffet restaurant, Carousel. Good food. Great ambience. We were there for almost 2 hours. And cos I knew I was going to be gorging, I ran before my sis and her husband picked us up, had 3 watermelons for breakfast and then went a little insane at the buffet spread. But it was so yum.

Then, we did a bit of shopping. Ok, who am I kidding? A lot of shopping. I bought 2 dresses; a hot black halter dress which I can wear when I'm in Greece and a cute princess-looking pink dress for school. YAY! And I bought my MAC compact as well. Everyone went home happy cos all of us bought something; shoes and dresses for Kikin, skirt, top, bag, shoes for Nana, shirt, bag, make up and shoes for mom. Oh..and toys for the kids! :)

Im exhausted right now but it was a great day. Actually, this whole weekend had been fab. I spent the whole day out on Fri, did a little retail theraphy (again. I know, Im out of control), then pampered myself by going for my waxing appointment and also did a manicure, then had dinner out and ended the day with coffee with Maya. Sat, I literally did nothing. Just stayed home, watched tv, did a little work, and took a 3 hour afternoon nap. Very liberating. Im just enjoying my freedom before Mon starts cos that's when my exam papers come in. 300 scripts in 10 days. God bless me.
